Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa.
• Completed Australian Year 12 or the IB in 2025.
• Enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor’s degree at a La Trobe campus in Semester 1, 2026.
• Demonstrate high academic achievement.
• Demonstrate high achievement in their chosen sport.
• Actively competing at a national or international level of competition in a sport that is recognised and funded by the Australian Sports Commission
• Identified as an elite athlete by the State or National Sporting Organisation or Institute or Professional Players Association

Selection Process:
Scholarship recipients will be selected based on:

• The completed application form addressing the eligibility criteria.
• Evidence of Australian Tertiary Admission Rank.
• A personal statement (complete document at bottom of page)
• Sporting reference (refer to template at bottom of page)

Applications open at 5:00 PM (AEDT) on December 11, 2025, and close at 5:00 PM (AEDT) on February 20, 2026.
