Membership consists of three parts and rolls for 12 months from your date of registration.
- DBQ insurance (To cover you on the water)- Paid directly to DBQ when registering below
- Lakers Membership- *Not paid in this online transaction* Please pay this directly into the Lakers bank account. This helps avoid extra fees. Please reach out to us for bank AC details.
- Completing and returning the:Dragonboat Queensland Inc. Medical Clearance Formavailable to download below.
Adult $105 (DBQ ins) + $165 (Lakers M'ship)
Student (18-24) $80 (DBQ ins) + $90 ($60 w ID) (Lakers M'ship)
Junior (U18) $45 (DBQ ins) + $60 (Lakers M'ship)

Associate $100 ( to lakers account)
Regatta Fees: $20 per adult paddler, $8 for junior paddlers
New paddlers: Safely trial dragonboating for four consecutive weeks (28days), free of charge, via Dragonpass
New members: When you’re ready to join,register to create a new account.
Returning members: Please renew to reactivate your account.
Family discount: DBQ insurance fees apply to all family members, however, junior paddlers (U18) receive free Lakers membership when two full fee-paying adults are members (or if a solo parent is a member + one junior family member )
Fair play vouchers: Parents, carers, or guardians can also apply for a voucher valued up to $150 per child, which can be used towards sport and active recreation membership fees. Check out Fair Play
