The Lake Acworth Dragons (LAD) is a growing co-ed paddling club based in the northwest Atlanta area. We're focused on building paddling techniques and fostering team camaraderie while preparing to compete in dragon boat races throughout the season. LAD is a non-profit club passionate about building community engagement and giving back. We welcome members of all activity levels and ages from 18 up. Join us for a great workout and a lot of fun!

In 2012 a small group of Beaufortonians heeded the call from the featured documentary “Awaken the Dragon”, shown at the Beaufort International Film Festival and from this inspiration DragonBoat Beaufort was formed.
DragonBoat Beaufort (DBB) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to assisting cancer patients who live, work, or receive treatment in Beaufort County. We are a fund of the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
