9/12/16 - Layday Eve Spit Roast Information:
Hi VS sailors,
We are getting things organised for the VS National Titles at HKSC from 7th – 13th January and look forward to hosting the regatta. As part of our planning we are thinking of hosting a catered spit roast meal on the beach in front of the club after racing on the Monday evening before the lay day. If you and your crew and/or partners/ family would be interested in this meal please email us back with approximate numbers of adults and children. We are trying to gauge demand and if it is worthwhile to go ahead with the organisation of it. Costs would be kept as reasonable as possible and can be firmed up before the end of the year if we know approximate numbers before confirmation.
If you are wanting to camp at the club or sleep in the club on the plywood boat storage shelves please email us so we can do some preparation for that as well. We’ve had plenty of people sleep on the boat shelves in the club over the last few seasons for junior training camps.
