🏓 Your First Session at Henley Hustlers
Welcome to Henley Hustlers Pickleball Club.
If this is your first time attending one of our sessions, this page explains what you need to do before you arrive, how sessions are run, and how payments work. Just remeber, you dont need to bring someone, you will be welcomed and will join in with everyone else. You will get plenty of game time.
👋 Before You Attend (Important)
To attend a Henley Hustlers session, the following must be completed:
• You must be registered and approved in Spond to gain access to sessions.
• Session fees must be paid via Spond prior to attending. View our cancellation policy.
• Session times, availability, and updates are managed through Spond.
Players who are not registered in Spond or who have not paid may not be able to participate in the session.
This ensures sessions are safe, fair, and well managed.
💳 Session Fees
Session fees are charged per session and are payable via Spond at the time of booking:
- Henley Hustlers Members and Secondary Members: $8 per session.
- Pickleball South Australia (PSA) Members/Club Members: $10 per session.
- Non-Members: $13 per session.
- Family Friendly: $8 per session.
Membership status is verified through registration records.
Non-members are encouraged to register to access reduced session fees and insurance coverage.
FEES MAY BE NON-REFUNABLE. REFER TO CANCELLATION POLICY.
👟 What to Bring
Please bring:
• A pickleball paddle (loan paddles will be available at our sessions).
• Comfortable sports clothing.
• Court-appropriate footwear with good lateral support.
• Water.
🏓 When You Arrive
On arrival:
• Check in with the session organiser or volunteer.
• Let them know if it’s your first time or if you’re new to pickleball.
• The organiser will explain how the session runs and where to start.
Arriving 10 minutes early is strongly recommended.
🔁 How Sessions Run
Henley Hustlers sessions are structured to ensure:
• Fair court rotations and shared play time.
• Inclusive play across a range of skill levels.
• Clear direction from organisers to keep sessions flowing.
Please follow organiser instructions — this keeps sessions enjoyable for everyone.
🤝 On-Court Etiquette
We expect all players to:
• Call scores clearly before serving.
• Make honest line calls on your side of the court.
• Rotate courts and partners when directed.
• Treat other players, organisers, and volunteers with respect.
Competitive play is encouraged. Poor behaviour is not.
🛡️ Safety & Wellbeing
• Warm up before playing and cool down after sessions.
• Stay hydrated and take breaks when needed.
• If you feel unwell or injured, stop playing and notify an organiser.
Registered members are covered by insurance when playing at affiliated venues or sanctioned activities.
