To our 2026 Athletes, 

With the 2026 South Australian Masters Games starting next week, we’re looking forward to welcoming you to Victor Harbor.

Below is a simple guide to help you get started. Your full program, including event details and activities, will be available in your participant pack when you arrive.

GAMES HUB

The Games Hub is your central point for information and collections.

📍Location: Victor Harbor Tourism Centre, Warland Reserve
📅Dates: Tuesday 14 April – Sunday 19 April
🕙Hours: 10.00am – 4.00pm

At the Games Hub you can:

• Collect your credentials and participant pack
• Purchase merchandise or collect pre-orders
• Purchase the Prohibition Gin commemorative bottle
• Access local tourism information

OPENING CEREMONY & ATHLETES MARCH

We’d love you, your family and friends to join us as we officially open the Games.

📍Warland Reserve, Victor Harbor
📅Thursday 16 April | 5.00pm – 8.00pm (formal program)

Schedule:

• 4.30pm – 5.00pm: Masters Mile (register online)
• 5.00pm – 5.20pm: Athletes Parade
• 5.20pm – 5.45pm: Official speeches and flag raising
• 6.00pm – 8.00pm: Live entertainment, music and stalls

Athletes Parade – What to do

• Please arrive by 4.30pm
• Meet at the Visitor Centre
• You’ll march with your sport group, following your sport sign
• Groups will be in alphabetical order

YOUR SPORTS COORDINATORS

Each sport in the Games is run by dedicated volunteers who generously give their time alongside their work and family commitments.

We encourage you to acknowledge and thank them. They are essential to making the Games possible.

If you have any questions about your sport, please contact your Sports Coordinator in the first instance.

CLOSING CEREMONY

Join us to celebrate the end of the Games at the beautiful Victor Harbor Golf Club.

With stunning views, the clubhouse and surrounds will come alive with:

• Food trucks
• Live music
• Great food and drinks

One event. One region. One gin — with only a limited number of bottles available.

The SA Masters Games Gin is a special keepsake to mark your time in Victor Harbor. Distilled by Prohibition Liquor Co. in Adelaide and inspired by the Fleurieu Peninsula, each bottle can be personalised with your sport.

Pre-orders close end of day, Tuesday 14 April.

Pre-order now to secure your personalised bottle for collection at the Opening Ceremony on Thursday 16 April.

After this date, bottles will still be available to purchase:

• Online for delivery or collection from Prohibition Liquor Co.
• At the Games (standard bottles only, while stocks last)

We also wish our Dragon Boat teams the very best this Saturday 11 April as they compete in Mannum - a fantastic early start to the Games.

Similarly, to our Squash players competing at the State Centre in Edwardstown, we hope you can make your way to Victor Harbor and join in the celebrations.
