Based on last year's event, it will comprise four races within one. The four races are over 500m, 1,000m, 1,500m and 2,000m with a 500m recovery between each race. So 6,500m all up. It starts at Oxley Creek and finishes at the Dutton Park pontoon. The four times are aggregated and compared to a prognostic score based on gender and age division. The winner is the crew with the highest percentage calculated by dividing the actual aggregate into the prognostic (target) aggregate.
