BGS Drop and Row

Already up before dawn for drop-off? Make it your session too.
You're already at the river early on training mornings. Brisbane Grammarians Rowing Club is launching Drop and Row, a programme for parents of Brisbane Grammar School rowers. Drop the boys at the school shed, walk next door to ours, and get on the water yourself.
Whether you rowed at school or uni years ago or have always wanted to give it a go, it's a chance to get fitter and stronger and pick up a skill you once had (or secretly want to have).
The details
- When: Every Thursday, 5:00 to 7:00am, from Thursday 12 November to mid-December
- Where: Brisbane Grammarians Rowing Club shed, West End, right next door to the Brisbane Grammar School shed
- Cost: $200, covering your Rowing Queensland registration and insurance
- Who: Parents of current Brisbane Grammar School rowers, all experience levels
- New to rowing? With enough interest we'll add sessions on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings.
Register your interest
Tell us you're keen using our short form. There's no payment at this stage. Once we've confirmed numbers and boats, we'll email you a link to register and pay.
Come and say hello
We're launching at the Brisbane Grammar Rowathon on Saturday 7 November. Find a Grammarian on the day to learn more.
Keep rowing
Drop and Row wraps up in mid-December, but the rowing doesn't have to. If you want to keep going, we'll help find the right way for you to keep rowing.
