The Victor Harbor & Goolwa Sea Rescue Squadron (VHGSRS) will provide training for the Marine Radio Operators Certificate.

The course is a full day of practical training designed to equip participants with the skills required to handle communication equipment while ensuring compliance with the law.

Where & When

The training will be held at the VHGSRS club Bridge Terrace Victor Harbor on Sunday 1st February 2026 commencing at 9am and concluding approximately 4.30pm.

What to bring

Pen and paper & your lunch.

Cost

$95 per person. Once you have registered, you will receive an invoice via email with details for payment by bank transfer.

Participants will be provided with pre-reading prior to the training.

An exam of 25 questions will be conducted on conclusion of the training with oversight by an invigilator.

On successful completion the VHGSRS will arrange for your licence to be issued.
