Season 2025–26 Gift Race – Thursday 19th March

Get ready to test your speed at our Season 2025–26 Gift Race! This exciting handicapped 100m event gives every athlete a real shot at victory.

What you need to know:

• Cost: $4.00
• Prizes: Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category
• Categories: Races will be split into age groups:
  • U6–U10 Mixed
  • U11 & Over Male
  • U11 & Over Female

How it works:
We enter all registered athletes' seed times into a formula to determine starting positions on the 100m track. The fastest athlete becomes the 'scratch runner' and runs the full 100m. Other competitors receive a handicap start, beginning closer to the finish line based on their seed time. The aim? A thrilling, even playing field where anyone can take the win!

Event format:
Heats, semi-finals and finals will be conducted, with progression numbers determined by total registrations.
