About Us
Goulburn Mulwaree Athletics Club is a family-friendly club that welcomes athletes of all ages and abilities - from Tiny Tots through to Masters. Our fun, supportive, and inclusive environment helps everyone develop skills, stay active and enjoy the excitement of athletics. Whether you’re just starting out or striving for representative championships, we encourage every athlete to challenge themselves and reach their potential.
Our club meets are held at Hudson Park every Thursday afternoon from 4:45pm throughout the season. The 2026/27 season begins in October 2026 and runs until March 2027, with a short break over Christmas and the January school holidays.
'Come and Try' Day
Our 2026/27 season kicks off on 15 October 2026. We invite families to join us for the first session of the season as a ‘Come and Try’ opportunity - the perfect way to see if our club is the right fit for your child. If they enjoy it, you can simply complete registration afterwards! Keep an eye out for more information later in the year.
Age Groups
Age groups follow a calendar year system - based on the age an athlete will turn in the year the season finishes (2027). For example, if your child turns 6 at any point in 2027, they will be placed in the U6 age group.
Volunteering
Parents and carers are an essential part of Little Athletics, and we rely on your support each week to ensure our meets run smoothly. Please note that as part of your child’s registration, parents and carers are required to assist with allocated duties whenever their child’s age group is rostered on. Duties may include (but are not limited to) set up, pack up, finish line assistance and BBQ.
We Need Age Group Managers!
Age Group Managers play a vital role in our club. They help by communicating with families, running the weekly program of events and recording results. Many of our current managers continue year after year as their children move through the age groups, building confidence and experience along the way.
If you’re interested in becoming an Age Group Manager, we provide assistance and resources to support parents and carers in the role. It’s a fantastic way to get involved, support your child and be part of our athletics community!
