Footscray Falcons welcomes breast cancer survivors looking for a supportive, enjoyable way to improve their physical wellbeing, rebuild confidence and connect with others who understand their journey from their own recovery processes.
Dragon boating is internationally recognised as a safe and effective activity for many breast cancer survivors. Research has shown it can improve cardiovascular fitness, upper body strength, quality of life, confidence, mental wellbeing and social connectedness, while helping to reduce symptoms associated with breast cancer and its treatment.
Whether you're returning to exercise, looking to meet new people or simply wanting to try something different, our welcoming community will support you every step of the way.

Complimentary 4-Week Dragon Pass
We offer breast cancer survivors a complimentary 4-week Dragon Pass, giving you plenty of time to experience our club before deciding whether to join.
Your Dragon Pass includes:
- Four weeks of paddling
- All equipment provided
- Qualified coaching
- Insurance during the trial period
- A welcoming and supportive club environment
Ongoing Membership
Should you decide to continue paddling, you'll enjoy regular training sessions, ongoing coaching, social events, community activities and opportunities to compete in breast cancer survivor races locally, nationally and internationally.
