Football Futures Foundation - Terms and Conditions for Membership and Participation
By signing up as a member or participating in any Football Futures Foundation programs, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all members and participants.
Participants are expected to follow the instructions of coaches and staff at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Participation in programs is at your own risk, and Football Futures Foundation is not responsible for any injuries sustained during activities.
3. Membership and Registration
Membership to Football Futures Foundation and participation in most programs are free of charge. However, certain programs or events may have applicable fees, which must be paid in full at the time of registration unless a payment plan has been arranged. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or in the event of program cancellation by Football Futures Foundation.
All members and participants are expected to act respectfully toward others and adhere to the Foundation’s values of inclusion, respect, fair play, and child safety. Any behaviour that is disruptive, inappropriate, or compromises the safety and well-being of others—particularly children—may result in removal from the program or cancellation of membership without refund.
Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions upon registration and ensure they are fit to participate in physical activities. Football Futures Foundation reserves the right to refuse participation if it is deemed unsafe for the individual or others.
From time to time, we need to take photos and videos of people taking part in our programs. These photos and videos help us show our funders and supporters that our programs are making a real difference. This is very important because we rely on funding to keep our programs free or low-cost. Without this support, we wouldn’t be able to run these programs for the community.
By participating in our programs, you consent to you and/or your child being photographed or filmed for these purposes, unless you notify us in writing that you do not consent. Please email us at hello@footballfutures.org.au.
7. Privacy & Communication
Personal information collected during registration, including names, contact details, email addresses and relevant compliance information, will only be used for purposes connected to program administration, volunteer management, safeguarding, compliance and communication. We will not disclose personal information to other parties without consent, unless required or authorised by law, or where reasonably necessary for the safe and effective delivery of our programs.
Football Futures Foundation takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure or accidental disclosure. Staff, volunteers and contractors are required to handle personal information confidentially and in accordance with Football Futures Foundation procedures. Any actual or suspected privacy incident must be reported immediately so it can be reviewed and addressed.
8. Program Changes or Cancellations
Football Futures Foundation reserves the right to modify or cancel programs due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified via email and/or text message (please ensure you have entered the correct email address and mobile number) and any applicable fees may be refunded or credited toward future programs.
Football Futures Foundation is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in its programs, except in cases of gross negligence.
By signing up as a member or participating in Football Futures Foundation programs/events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
