Mini Ballers All Abilities Program
Inclusive football for children aged 6 and under with disability and mobility challenges
A Football Futures Foundation initiative
Program Overview
The Mini Ballers All Abilities Program is an inclusive early-years football initiative developed by Football Futures Foundation to support children aged 6 years and under living with disability—particularly those with mobility impairments such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, Down syndrome, or childhood stroke.
The program introduces football through safe, gentle, and fully modified play-based activities that promote motor development, confidence, and connection. Each session is designed to encourage participation through movement, imagination, and fun, with the active involvement of parents or carers as part of the experience.
Mini Ballers is not a competitive program or club-affiliated league—it is a stepping-stone that builds familiarity with football in a positive environment. Over time, participants may progress into more structured initiatives such as the i-League or Equal Footingball.
