Terms and Conditions for Membership of Fencing South Australia

1. Membership Eligibility

• Membership is open to individuals who meet the association’s criteria, including age, skill level, and any other requirements set by the governing body.
• Members must comply with all association rules, regulations and policies.

2. Code of Conduct

• Members must uphold sportsmanship, respect officials, teammates, and opponents.
• Any form of discrimination, harassment, or misconduct will result in disciplinary action.

3. Fees and Payments

• Membership fees must be paid in full before participation.
• Fees are non-refundable except under exceptional circumstances approved by the association.

4. Liability and Waiver

• Members acknowledge that participation in sporting activities carries inherent risks.
• The association is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation.
• Members must have appropriate insurance coverage if required.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

• Personal information collected will be used solely for association purposes and will not be shared without consent.
• Members agree to the association’s privacy policy.
• Members consent to the association using photos and videos taken during events and activities for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and printed materials.
• If a member wishes to opt out of media use, they must notify the association in writing before the event.
• The association will take reasonable steps to ensure images are used appropriately and in line with privacy laws.

6. Termination of Membership

• The association reserves the right to terminate membership due to rule violations or misconduct.
• Members may voluntarily withdraw by providing written notice.

7. Amendments to Terms

• The association may update these terms and conditions as necessary.
• Members will be notified of any changes.

Flinders Fencing Club

In addition to the terms above Flinders Fencing Club members also agree to be bound by the terms set out in the Flinders Fencing Club Constitution and Member Protection Policy below upon member registration. You acknowledge and agree to the Risk Waiver as attached below.
