Who
Flinders Fencing Club is a small club located at the Flinders University Bedford Park campus. We welcome people of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced fencers of University age or older. We practise both the Olympic sport of fencing, primarily fencing in epee, and also Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) fencing. Join us to enjoy one of the safest and finest sports around!
What
...do I bring?
Sneakers, long pants (no shorts), shirt, water bottle, enthusiasm.
All other equipment is provided.
...are your fees?
Our four week beginner course is free!
Our yearly membership is $80 per year, plus a capitation fee to Fencing SA for a state license. General Fencing SA license fees are $75/year, and current students (from Flinders or any other university) receive a 50% discounted license of $37.50/year.
Current Flinders University students are eligible to collect a Flinders University Sport and Fitness vouchers, which pays for $50 of your club membership (ask us if you are not sure where to get these).
