Dubbo Water Polo Club's Junior Water Polo Program provides an opportunity for children to meet others, learn new skills, have fun & challenge themself! The program caters for all skills levels, from first time beginners to students that have played Water Polo before. The training and play sessions are provided by our experienced coaches to ensure that the calibre of growth over the season is beneficial to children and their families. As they say, “practice makes perfect".

Participants in the Junior Water Polo Program age from 9-13 years (FlippaBall) and Juniors (14-18 years). Young players aged 14 years and older play in our Dubbo Water Polo Club Opens competition, depending on ability and experience. They must be a competent swimmer at their age level as a core component of the sport is swimming 25mtrs consistently at pace.

Skill-based training and games are played at Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre on Tuesday nights beginning about 5pm and finishing around 6pm depending on pool transitions. These focus on both land and water skills and drills with a game to finish.

The 2025/2026 Season starts in October 2025 and will end in March 2026. The season is split into two as we break for the holiday season over December/January.

2025/2026 Season cost:

Juniors (14-18 year olds): $170.00 

FlippaBall (9-13 year olds):  $80
