Dubbo Water Polo Club's Opens Competition provides an opportunity for teenagers and adults to meet others, learn new skills, have fun & challenge themself! The program caters for all skills levels, from first time beginners to people that have played Water Polo before. The games are provided by volunteers and our experienced referees to ensure that the calibre of growth over the season is beneficial to members. 

Participants in the Opens Competition age from 14 years and above. Young players aged 14 -18 years play in our Dubbo Water Polo Club Opens competition depending on ability and experience. They must be a competent swimmer at their age level as a core component of the sport is swimming 25mtrs consistently at pace.

Games are played on Tuesday nights with first game beginning at 6pm and the last game finishing around 8:30pm depending on how many teams register the season. 

Teams can be nominated. You can also register as an individual and we will place you in a team. Once registrations close, everyone will be divided into teams. We try our best to accommodate everyone. 

The 2025/2026 Season starts 28th October 2025 and will end in March 2026. The season is split into two as we break for the holiday season over December/January.

2025/2026 Season cost: $190.00

Registration will open in 15th September 2025 for the 2025/2026 Season. Registration and team nomination will close Friday 3rd October, 2025.
