The 20th edition of the Australian Masters Games (AMG) will be held in Canberra, with dragon boat racing held over three days - 18th - 20th Oct 2025. DAA will be registering composite crews, and this is where you come in. We need to know who wants to join in the fun so we know how many boats to register. Please note this is an EOI ONLY. After the boats are registered DAA will email you a code which will allow you to pay and register. This step is independent of DAA, with payment accepted by the AMG. The cost will be approx $200 for the three day event and entry into two special events (eg the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony). This cost is broken into two parts $80 for the Sport Entry Fee and $108 for AMG. After 28th July this price will jump to $120 for a 3 day access pass. Further details can be found here

The race format for days 1 and 2 will be 200m racing - there will be three rounds for each category and no finals.Day 3 will be 1000m turns (great fun!) racing - one round per category. DAA have selected several categories to enter and will decide which ones go forward depending on your level of interest. When making your selection please be realistic - I imagine for most of our members 6-9 races per day will be plenty - which means racing in two or three categories.
