There are inherent risks in Dragon Boating. Derwent Storms Dragon Boat Club has developed and complies with a Risk Assessment & Safety Plan. The Club’s committee, coaches and sweeps are committed to their duty of care for all participants.
Registration is an acknowledgement that you agree to indemnify the Derwent Storms Dragon Boat Club Inc, its members and office bearers from any liability and that you agree to wear an approved life jacket at every paddling session.
Payment of annual membership is an acknowledgement that you have reviewed your medical fitness to paddle and if necessary have sought advice from your doctor if you have any concerns about changes to your health in the past 12 months. Please refer to AusDBF Medical Information and Wellness Checklist document for further information if required.
Payment of membership is acknowledgment that a digital image (photograph or video) of a Derwent Storms dragon boat activity in which you appear may be published on the web for promotional purposes.
