DRAGONS ABREAST BALLARAT formed in 2005.
We are a social group and warmly welcome all new members.
No prior experience in dragon boating is necessary; we provide all the training and equipment you need to get started. We train on Lake Wendouree in Ballarat.
Our training sessions are punctuated with laughter, camaraderie and mutual support. Our members come from all walks of life, each bringing their own story and strength to the team.
In addition to our regular training sessions, we participate in various dragon boat festivals and regattas, both locally, nationally and internationally. These events showcase our skills and also raise awareness about breast cancer and support for those affected.
