Canberra Runners Half Marathon

We Run CBR: Canberra Runners are proud to host the 2027 Canberra Runners Half Marathon

The Canberra Runners Half Marathon will be held in late Autumn (Sunday, 16 May 2027), following the cycle path around the West Basin of Lake Burley Griffin to Scrivener Dam and return on an out and back course. The 2027 course is undulating and offers views of Australia’s national landmarks including Government House and Parliament House. You really will run Canberra!

The race starts and finishes at Lennox Gardens, which is easily accessed via public transport, bike, or car. The race starts on Flynn Drive, heading south and then Alexandrina Drive before joining the West Basin cycle path to Scrivener Dam and then returning via the cycle path and Alexandrina Drive to the Lennox Gardens cycle path and finishes on the grass. Flynn Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. to 8.30 a.m., and Alexandrina Drive from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.  The cut-off for completion of the event is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

The race will be fully timed.
