It's been a historical week to remember for Central Coast Water Polo! 

11 Coasties Teams in Sydney Winter Metro Comp! 

 2 gold medals 2 bronze medalsand 4 teams off to Grand Finalsthis week! 

M12 Blue are Grand Final Champions! 🏆 

After a massive 11-2 Semi-Final win against Sydney Uni, the stage was set for an allregional Grand Final showdown against our friends from the Hunter Hurricanes. 

It was a nail-biter right to the end! The score was tied, pushing the game into a tense penalty shootout that had everyone cheering on the edge of their seats. Our team held their nerve, securing a 9-7 victory! 

This game was a win for the entire region, proving the power and dominance of regional water polo. 

M12 White - The Season of Growth 

This season in the Sydney Metro Comp has been an incredible journey for our M12 White team. Our young, bottomaged players stepped up and learned so much, from a tough 4-7 Semi-Final loss to Ryde, to an amazing bounceback 9-1 win against Drummoyne in the Play Offs. 

This final game reflected all their hard work and a testament to their dedication. They finished the comp with a dominant victory and 7th place on the ladder! More than just wins and losses, this team created wonderful new friendships among players and parents alike. 

The future looks incredibly bright for these young super stars.  

W12 are Grand Final Champions! 🏆 

What a fairytale story for our young W12 team. Their season started with a lot of grit and determination, with their first win coming in Round 4. But once they got a taste of victory, there was no stopping them. 

They locked in a series of strong back-to-back wins, leading to an incredible Grand Final run. They fought hard for a nail-biting 4-3 Semi-Final victory against UTS Balmain. Then, they sealed the deal with a fantastic 7-4 win over Sydney Uni in the Grand Final. This team's journey is a beautiful example of what can be accomplished with teamwork and perseverance. We couldn't be prouder of these champions! 

M14A Finishes Strong in 3rd Place! 

What a journey for our M14A team. They finished their season with a welldeserved 3rd place overall out of seven teams in their top age division! 

While our SemiFinals against Sydney Uni ended in a 6-10 loss, it was a testament to the team's fighting spirit. Playing with just five players for half the first quarter, they showed incredible resilience and never gave up. 

This season has been a huge success in terms of player development and gaining game knowledge. We are so proud of this team and can't wait to see what they accomplish next! 

M14B What a Season! 

What an incredible result! Our M14B team finished in an amazing 3rd place out of 12 teams in their division. 

The season was a huge success, filled with opportunities to implement their training into the games. Their record speaks for itself with seven convincing wins and only three losses, each by a single point.  

The final games were a testament to their strength and grit with a big 12-6 win over UNSW Wests White, followed by a nail-biting 7-8 loss to UNSW Wests Black. 

We are so proud of every player's effort and dedication. We're excited to see this amazing group of athletes continue to grow and compete in our Central Coast competition this summer! 

W14A Finishes in an Impressive 4th Place! 

The W14A team wrapped up their season with an impressive 4th place finish, a testament to their dedication and talent. 

Making it to the Semi Finals of a very competitive A Division metro competition was a huge moment for this group of young players. While their journey ended with a 1-10 loss to UNSW Wests, their place in the final four is something to be celebrated. 

We are so proud of the courage, teamwork, and commitment they demonstrated throughout the season. Their future is bright, and we'll be watching them this summer, ready to cheer them on! 

W16A it’s more than a game! 

What a journey for our W16A girls, who came together this season as a mix of brand-new players, returning players, and some wellseasoned juniors. 

Their determination was incredible. The smiling outdoor night training sessions battling the waterfront elements never dampened their enjoyment for the game. 

Their commitment paid off. As the only regional team in the A Division mix, they finished in a very respectable 6th place out of 8 teams. We're so proud of every single player for their effort and for showing everyone what true passion looks like. Keep up the great attitude!
