Ducks Water Polo Club was established in 1984 as The Entrance Water Polo Club Incorporated. Over the past 40 years the club has evolved to become known as 'The Ducks'.

From the beginning, the Ducks have been known as the family club on the Central Coast. This legacy formed when two Surf Life Saving Clubs came together as a social activity for its members. Today, that tradition continues at all levels of the Ducks. We have families playing in junior and senior competitions, those wanting to help on the monthly BBQ and our current coaches reminding our juniors what it was like when they played as ducklings for The Ducks.

Ducks Water Polo Club focus on the fun and friendship that comes with playing in teams sports by fostering a positive environment for players of all ages and skill levels who are committed in promoting fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship for players of all ages and skill levels. The club is part of the Central Coast Water Polo Association entering teams in both junior and senior competitions each summer seasons.

For the 2025/26 season, Ducks Water Polo Club is excited to reintroduce FLIPPABALL for our younger players and families. Flippaball is adapted version of the game that has a shorter season length, different balls and additional modified rules to create enjoyment and basic skill development.

Many of our players are selected to represent the Central Coast at regional, state and national events. In the 2025/26 summer competition, we have seven players representing the Central Coast and two players who have been selected for the Water Polo NSW Development Academy. The Ducks Water Polo Club coaching team work and encourage players who wish to explore development pathways of playing water polo at representative level.
