In the 40-plus years since its formation, BVSC remains a small, friendly club of 10 to 15 sailing members, mostly older sailors in both dinghies and multihulls, enjoying competitive racing on the largest lake in South East Queensland. All club events are held at Hayes Landing. The popular annual Winter Marathon open invitation sailing event attracts up to 100 off-the-beach boats. The Marathon will be held on the first weekend of June at Logan’s Inlet, where modern camping facilities are available.
