It is with pleasure and gratitude that we thank the Queensland Government for awarding our club, Blaze Dragons, a Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) grant of $34,990.

The GCBF awards funding to not-for-profit community groups to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities.

Thank you to the Honourable Yvette D'Ath MP, Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Leader of the House for formally notifying us of the successful outcome of the Grant. We are very appreciative.

This funding provides opportunity to purchase a storage container and equipment, enabling growth of our dragon boat club in the Townsville Community.  This equipment includes marketing, communication, governance, safety, navigation, regatta kit, sunsafe gear, skill/drill/recreation equipment, storage and events items.
