Volunteer & Official Registration

Have you thought about Volunteering??

Maybe you're a parent with a child just starting out, maybe you're grandparent looking to get involved or an ex-sailor wanting to keep ties with our Sailing Community. Whatever your situation is we would love to have you on board. . Our week to week sailing would not be possible without our volunteers. We are extremely lucky to have such dedicated and hard working volunteers, they are the back bone of our Sailing Community.

We offer amazing benefits for all our volunteers such as;

Club Ascent points for time volunteered - that can then be used in the club for food and beverage.
Opportunites to complete First Aid Training and Certification.
Opportunities to complete Power Boat Handling courses and Safety Boat Handling Courses.
Invitations to events such as Presentations and BBQ's.
Club T-Shirt
Volunteer Inductions and training

There are many varying roles needing to be filled, whether you have sailing expertise or not we have a role to suit;

Rescue Boat Drivers
Course Layers
Race Officials
Flags, Time keepers, Scribes & Results
Shore Marshalls
Radio Room Personal
BBQ Duty
Launching & Retrieving Rescue Boats
Processing Results
Registration (regattas & events)

If you are one of our existing volunteers or officials, or are interested in getting involved, please register with us by completing our on-line registration process. Alternatively you can contact the Sailing Office for more information.

To make things easier, before starting the on-line registration you will require:

Current full membership of the Belmont 16ft Sailing Club & know your membership number
Preferably know your Australian Sailing Member number (if you have one)
An e-mail address

If you were a Registered Volunteer last sailing season, then you WILL ALREADY BE IN THE DATABASE - simply log-in using your password and update your record.
If you are a new volunteer to the Club this year you will need to "Create a NEW Profile in TopYacht registry"
