Trailer Parking & Storage

Coach/Support boat trailers MUST NOT be parked in the Club carpark. Please do not drive into the Club's car park and park across 3-4 parking spaces.  During regattas, provision is made to store road trailers in a cordoned section of Laughlin Park directly across the road from the Club. Trailers may be left here, at owners own risk, for the duration of the regatta.

Re-fuelling

Marks Point Marina (directly south across Belmont Bay from the B16ftSC) offers fuel, ice, a chandlery, as well as mechanical & shipwright repairs.   Re-fuelling is open from 7:00am to 4:30pm daily and payment can be made by cash & credit card (Visa/Mastercard).

Contact them on 4945 4965 or 0409 789 911 (after hours) and via info@markspointmarina.com.au. Visit their website: www.markspointmarina.com.au

Mooring/Berthing

Private boats may be moored on the Club’s jetty closest to the clubhouse. They may be moored overnight however, this is entirely at the owners own risk. No supervision nor security is provided and please be aware that the jetties are directly accessible by the general public.

Please be aware that the eastern most Club jetty/pontoon is for use by race management boats during the regatta.

The Lake Macquarie Yacht Club (to the south east of the B16ftSC) have casual marina berths available for private mooring/berthing. Please contact and liaise directly with the LMYC Marina Manager, Michael Buckley on 0400 205 600 or via boating@lmyc.com.au

Marks Point Marina also have casual moorings and berths available, contact details above.

All Coach/Support boats are required to be registered with the Organising Authority as per the Sailing Instructions. Registration will take place in the Race HQ located in the eastern most end of the Brain Ellis Boat Shed of the B16ftSC.
