Our club now has 4 new coaches, Doug O'Loughlin, George Simadopoulos, Sue Shannon and Bernard Reed following our very successfull Level One Coaching Course held on 29-30 November 2025.

The course was made possible through a Sport and Recreation Victoria grant of $1,052 and Petanque Australia's support in the form of national coach, Neil Brown who tavelled from Newcastle to lead the course.

Our new coaches are ready, willing and available to work with any members who would like to improve their skills and enjoyment of the game.

To assist in your preparation for coaching sessions and develop your understanding of the fundamentals of the game of petanque, it is highly recommended that all members use the "PFA Player Training Manual" as a resource.

Coaching sessions can be arranged for individual members and groups - at your convenience.
