BPPC Open Doubles Competition scheduled for Sunday, 12 June 2022 has been CANCELLED.

The sun came out to play and so did 16 BPPC players and friends to contest our Open Doubles Competition at QLYC.

An intrepid troupe of 12 BPPC members and supporters ventured to Halls Gap in the Grampians to participate in our first ever representative petanque tournament on Sunday, 24 April 2022.

25 balmy degrees by the shores of Swan Bay greeted the contenders for this year's XMAS "friendly" competition at QLYC Clubrooms. Three rounds of SWISS singles saw club Secretary/Treasurer - Bernard Reed - triumph over a very determined group of contenders including, the club matriarch - Merle Reed joined by talented newcomer - Sue Shannon with Claire Reed, Luis Ferro, Loretta Hart rounding out the field.

Our inaugural QLYC - BPPC competition was held on Sunday, 11 July 2021 and the winners were - Loretta Hart and Chris Reed with 2 wins and an aggregate score of 24 points from 3 games. Congratulations to Loretta and Chris on their historic win and to all the braves souls who battled the bracing conditions at our picturesque new playing venue - QLYC.
