Bankstown Sports Club is one of Sydney’s leading registered clubs, located in the heart of Bankstown. Established in 1958, it has grown from a small community organisation of just 243 members into a dynamic destination with more than 120,000 members and over 500 staff. The Club is recognised not only for its scale and facilities but also for its strong commitment to supporting sport and the wider community.

From its very beginning, Bankstown Sports was built on the vision of giving back to grassroots sport. Today, the Club proudly supports more than 100 community organisations across southwest Sydney, providing funding for uniforms, facilities, and infrastructure, as well as assistance to hospitals, schools, and aged care services. Every visit to the Club helps reinvest in initiatives that strengthen the local community.

Visitors to Bankstown Sports enjoy one of the most diverse hospitality offerings in the state, with over a dozen dining experiences ranging from La Piazza’s authentic Little Italy precinct to the new fine-dining steak restaurant, Marrow & Co., as well as the contemporary Basement Brewhouse, a microbrewery serving craft beer and gourmet dining. The Club offers something for every occasion, whether it is a casual meal, a family night out, or a special celebration.

Entertainment is at the heart of the experience, with a full program of live music, theatre shows, trivia, bingo, and major sporting events broadcast across more than 40 screens. For larger occasions, Bankstown Sports provides 13 state-of-the-art event spaces, including the spectacular Grand Ballroom, the Theatre and flexible function rooms that cater for weddings, corporate events, and community celebrations.

The Club is also a hub for families, with attractions such as Monkey Mania, Australia’s largest indoor children’s playground, the exciting Turbo Climb centre, and the UFC Gym, alongside early learning services that support health and wellbeing.
