About Us

Boasting a membership of approximately 550, Bankstown Sports Athletics Club (BSAC) is one of the largest athletics clubs in NSW. Located in the Sydney suburb of Georges Hall, the club has been in existence in its present form since 1984. BSAC caters for athletes ranging in ages and abilities from Olympic, World Championship and Commonwealth Games representatives to 4 year-old, tiny tots and 90 year old social runners, joggers and walkers.

The club provides targeted training programs from accredited coaches, which covers all athletic disciplines. General fitness coaching commencing at "entry level"  is also available for anyone interested in joining our club with a view to increase their basic level of fitness.

The club hosts weekly competition on Tuesday evenings and participants of all ages and abilities are more than welcome to come down to ‘The Crest’ and take part in these events, commencing at 6:00pm. Please refer to the Tuesday Night Series section on our About Us Page for details of our weekly races.

BSAC's World Athletics accredited Olympic synthetic track and adjoining facilities, which include an on-site gymnasium and rehabilitation and recovery room, are also available to members for training four nights per week (Mondays to Thursdays) and on weekends.

With annual membership fees of only $95 for seniors, $85 for juniors and $70 for pensioners, the club offers the widest range of services at one of the lowest costs of any athletics club in Australia. For more information on getting involved in the family friendly Tuesday evening competitions, as well as club membership generally, please send us an enquiry on the 'Contact Us' page.
