Albury Comets Softball Club was established in 1958, making it the longest-standing softball club in the Albury-Wodonga region. Each summer, we proudly field Men’s, Women’s, and Junior teams at Jelbart Park. Our members enjoy competitive play alongside a relaxed, family-focused social atmosphere.

We warmly encourage players of all ages and skill levels to come and have fun with Comets. We love our sport and hope you will too!

Over the years, our club has enjoyed great success. Our senior women’s team are the current premiers, a testament to the talent and dedication within our ranks. We are fortunate to have experienced, skilled coaches and are proud to recognise our longest-serving life member, Rhonda Scammell.

Rhonda joined Comets in 1961 and has contributed as a player, coach, umpire, and committee member throughout her extensive softball career. She is an Australian Level 6 accredited umpire (Cap No. 93, 1991) and remains actively involved in club activities. Rhonda is a life member of Softball Albury Wodonga and Softball Victoria.
