Life Members

At the heart of our club are our life members whose dedication and commitment to our great sport has seen Comets flourish over many years. 

H.R (Jim) Haynes was the first life member, presented in 1980 after joining Comets in 1958.

Rhonda Scammell joined Comets in 1961 and was awarded club life membership in 1986, going on to become a Softball Albury Wodonga life member in 1997, and Softball Victoria life member in 2010.

Jacqui Allen joined Comets in 1977, and was awarded life membership in 2007.

Karen Jones joined Comets in 1978 and was awareded life membership in 1998.

Linda Scammell started playing  in 1978, and was awarded life membership in 2002. Linda is a life member of Softball Albury Wodonga.

Leslie O'Neill has been a Comet since 1992, and was awarded life membership in 2012. Lesley is a life member of Softball Albury Wodonga.

Katrina (Trina) Weygood joined her big sister at Comets in 1992, and became a life member in 2022.
