The WPTAS Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 27 September 2021 at Mathers Place, Hobart at 6.30pm.
There are a number of board positions becoming available.
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID travel restrictions around the country we’ve been forced to cancel the 14U Development Tournament scheduled for the first week of the September school holidays. All state associations who had originally expressed interest have now said they’re unable to come.
Enjoyed playing in the school competition? Why not grab your friends and join a club.
Club seas starts Friday 3 September for ages ranging from 12Us to Seniors.
Water Polo Tasmania is currently putting teams together for the upcoming national competitions.
State teams are open to all boys and girls in the eligible age groups who are current members of Water Polo Tasmania.
The state team testing period will be held over two Sunday nights, 18 and 25 July, at the Clarence Pool for the following teams:
- 17U boys – 5-6pm
- All girls teams – 5-6pm
- 15U and 14U boys teams – 6-7pm
Information has been sent out to schools for this years schools water polo competition.

The first session for the Senior Women’s team for the Country Championships will be Monday 1st February at Clarence Pool. There will be a meeting at 6:45pm followed by training from 7:20-8:30. Coach Dean Wright encourages everyone interested to come along, any players who are U18 please bring a parent with you to the meeting.
