State Development Training (SDT)

Training fees

Pool hire is a great expense for WPTAS and we appreciate players paying a small fee each session to recoup some of the costs. Coaches and managers volunteer their time to run these sessions.

Attendance will be taken at training sessions by the coach and each player will be invoiced by WPTAS in the week after the end of month. The hourly training fee is $8.80 (inc. GST).

Swim training

WPTAS advises all players wishing to be considered for representative teams must do at least two swim session a week with either a swimming club or swim squad.

Information about swim clubs and squads can be found on the Swimming Tasmania website at https://tas.swimming.org.au/clubs-0/club-finder
