Join the West Rugby Women’s Hockey Club – Where Community Meets Competition!

Looking for a fun, friendly, and active way to spend your winter weekends? West Rugby Women’s Hockey Club is the perfect place for women & girls to connect, play, and grow! Established in 1979 with the support of West Rugby Union Club, we’ve built a welcoming community that loves hockey and values friendships on and off the field.

We play under the North West Sydney Hockey Association (NWSHA) and currently field two women’s grass teams for players aged 12 and up. Games are held on Saturday afternoons (April to August) at Meadowbank, making it easy to fit into your schedule. Many of our members are mothers and daughters playing together, and there are plenty of baby sitters to watch younger kids on the side of the field, creating a unique family-friendly atmosphere.

Want to take your game further? Players aged 35 and over can trial for NWSHA Masters teams during February and March. Show your interest and register for trials through the NWSHA website here.
