Fast5 Water Polo is back this May 2026.

With five players to a side, shorter quarters, power plays, and super shots - this is a game you don't want to miss over an actioned-packed weekend. It is always fun when water polo, bouncy castles, face painting, and food trucks are in one place!

Proudly supported by the City of Stirling, Sport West and the Road Safety Commission, Fast5 is a fun, inclusive and fast paced format of water polo.

🗓️ When: May: Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th

📍 Where: Stirling Leisure - Inglewood, Suite 1 & 2/62 Alexander Dr, Inglewood WA 6052. Venue entry for players, spectators are free. 

🕛 Time: 1pm - 4pm both days

🤽‍♂️ Who: Open to all players U12 (born 2014/15 and U14 born 2012/13).  $40 per person (this is individual player nominations).

Registrations are individual, and Water Polo WA will allocate teams – but if you’ve got a crew and want to play with your mates, we’re happy to help! If you have a coach, great, let us know! Add this information to the event registration, and we'll do our best to keep you together in the draw.

Game Format

⏱️ 4 x 5 minute quarters

🧃 2 minute half-time, 1 minute quarter-time

🕒 Running clock – no stoppages!

❌ No timeouts – it’s GO time all the time!

Teams

5️⃣ Players in the water (4 field + 1 goalie)

Sub in/sub out anytime 🌀

Start & Restart

🏁 Each half kicks off with a swim-off

🧤 Restart after each goal with your goalie

Scoring

⚽ 1 point per regular goal

💣 2 points for long-range snipes (outside 5m!)

Bring your power shots! 💥

Fouls

🟡 Ordinary: Free throw – defender must back off 1m

🔴 Exclusion: 18 seconds in the bin or until a goal

❗ Penalty: For serious fouls inside 5m – big moment!
