By registering to attend a Water Polo Australia (WPA) event, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Entry is subject to venue capacity, safety protocols, and WPA approval.
WPA reserves the right to refuse or revoke entry for any breach of these terms.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
All attendees must comply with WPA’s Child Safe Sport policies.
All attendees must follow venue safety instructions, emergency procedures, and WPA staff directions.
WPA reserves the right to modify or cancel the event due to safety, weather, or operational concerns.
WPA is not liable for loss, or damage to personal property incurred during the event.
WPA and its accredited media partners may capture images, video, and audio during the event for promotional and archival purposes.
By attending, spectators consent to the possibility of being included in official event media unless they notify WPA in writing prior to the event.
By attending, spectators content that their postcode data may be used for attendance reporting purposes. No personal information will be shared.
Spectators abide by the Think Act Play principles and must not engage in:
Abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior
Unauthorized access to restricted areas
Use of drones or professional recording equipment
Distribution of promotional materials without WPA approval
Spectators who choose to take personal photos or videos using mobile phones or personal devices must do so under the following conditions:
Non-Commercial Use Only: Images or videos captured at WPA events must not be used for commercial, promotional, or media purposes without prior written consent from WPA.
Consent Required for Uploading: Any image or video featuring identifiable individuals (including athletes, officials, or other spectators) must have the explicit approval of all parties depicted before being uploaded to social media or shared publicly.
Respect for Privacy: Spectators must not photograph or film individuals in sensitive situations (e.g., injuries, distress) or in areas designated as private (e.g., change rooms).
WPA Rights Reserved: WPA reserves the right to request removal of any content that breaches these conditions or compromises the safety, privacy, or reputation of participants.
Anyone who breaches our Policies and procedures whilst in attendance of any events and competitions will be sanctioned as per the WPA National sanctioning policy.
I hereby confirm i will abide by the WPA Policy and Procedures, especially the Code of Conduct whilst in attendance at the Events and Competitions.
I understand that should i breach any of the conditions, i am liable to be sanctioned as per the WPA Sanctioning Policy
