Hockey Sixers is a new, social version of hockey for juniors & seniors alike, that removes the need to commit to a club or pay big annual registration fees. We play on a smaller pitch which means more touches and more fun.

You will need a team of 6 to take the field, or nominate yourself and we will find a team for you. All you need to bring is a mouth guard (better safe than sorry) shin pads and a stick. But hey, if you don't have any of that, we'll help with the stick and shin pads, but you have to get your own mouth guard.

Register as a player and if you have got your team together, contact Mark (0408 992 879) and we'll get your team created so all of your mates can register to play in that team.

What does it cost to play Hockey Sixers?

$0, nothing, ziltch, zip, nil, nada

How many games are there?

We will be having an 6 week season, running on Wednesday nights from November 10 to December 15. Games will be at 4:30pm for Under 17's 6pm for seniors and we will run a round robin competition for the 6 weeks.

Do I have to have experience?

NO WAY! This is the best introduction to the sport you can have, we’ll have experienced players and umpires who can help you out and most of all, it is just a bit of fun and fitness.

How long do games go for?

Games are played in 3 twelve-minute periods, so the actual game time is 36 minutes on the field, so you can turn up for your game and head home after an hour of fun and fitness with friends.

How many players are on a team?

There is 6 players on the field and you can have up to 9 players on your team if you think you'll need a rest and run a bench rotation.

Can I just register myself?

You sure can,  you can register as an individual and we'll let you know which team needs some more players.
