Welcome to the Watsons Bay Whitecaps Water Polo Club

We are a community of water polo players who love the game and enjoy playing together in a fun, friendly, and inclusive environment. Whether you’re an experienced competitor or just just a social water polo player, you’ll find a warm welcome here.

Every Sunday morning at 9:30am, we gather at the iconic Watsons Bay Baths for social games in the outdoor harbour pool. We also compete in the Sydney Metropolitan Competition, with three men’s teams playing both summer and winter seasons. Our home base is the Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre (Bexley Aquatic), where we train and compete thanks to the ongoing support of Bayside Council.

Beyond competition, we run the Sydney Wild League, a monthly (or so) event where players take to Sydney’s most scenic harbour and ocean pools. We’ve played at stunning locations such as Nielsen Park, Parsley Bay, Gordons Bay, Balmoral Beach, Malabar, Dolls Point, North Bondi, Camp Cove, Carrs Park, and Shelley Beach at Manly.
