Our membership year runs from September to August.

As per our by-laws, all members aged under 16 years old, must have a parent join the club as a Non-Competing member. This option is available in the membership options section.

WARWC has club walks all year. Our main season is winter, which runs from May to end of August. Members can compete in all WARWC hosted events with their membership. Training sessions are available and walkers can compete in our Club Championships (subject to meeting the qualification requirements).

Members and Parents are required to assist at club events. We are a small club and we aim to share the work around. No job is difficult or time consuming and we are more than happy to show you what to do.

Any parents or athletes enthusiatic about learning to officiate or walk judge. Please get in touch with the club.

The online membership form now includes our participation agreement, a seperate paper form is not required.

If you are joining another AW club, please do this first BEFORE joining WARWC through our portal. Otherwise you will be overcharged.

Please take note of the membership type below (number and name) and make sure to choose this on the relevant screen.

Make sure the price is correct BEFORE joining up. If there is an issue, please get in touch for assistance.

Do you want to race for WARWC at Strive?

Athletes who want to compete for WARWC at Strive, can join up through the portal. Choose this membership if you want to wear the WARWC club uniform at Strive events.

Membership types and prices:

2.2 Junior Athlete (U13 to U18) - Strive Program Only - $130

2.4 Junior Athlete (U13 to U18) - LA registered - Strive Upgrade - $65

3. Senior Member (U20 and Open) - $110

4.2 MAWA Dual Member - Strive Upgrade - $90

Already an Athletics West club member, but competing for another AW club (or clubs)?

Club membership is $20 for athletes who:

are already a member of an Athletics West Club, AND
are doing STRIVE for another club (not WARWC) OR not doing Strive

These members should join their other club (or clubs) BEFORE before joining WARWC. This is very important. Due to the fee setup by AW, if you do not join up with the other club BEFORE joining WARWC, you will be overcharged. If the price does not reduce to $20.00 at the checkout, do not pay and contact the club for help.

Athletes should choose the membership type for their age group that is the same as the AW membership they have already bought.

1. Little Athletes (U7 to U12)

2.1 Junior Athlete (U13 to U18) - LA Program Only

2.2 Junior Athlete (U13 to U18) - Strive Program Only

2.3 Junior Athlete (U13 to U18) - Dual Member (already registered)

3. Senior Member (U20 and Open)

4.1 MAWA Registered Member

Parent of a child under 16 years old?

Choose membership type: 5. Non-Competing Member. Price $3. Please note that is in addition to the membership fee for your child's membership.

Not joining any other Athletics West Club?

If you have not already registered and do not intend to register at any other Atheltics West club, choose membership 6. Non-AW club Member. This membership is NOT for you if you are registering with eg MAWA, any LA Centre, another Senior Club, etc. Members in this membership category can participate in events WARWC run over Summer and club training only (not Strive). These members will need to rejoin the club in March 2026 to continue to walk with WARWC over the Winter 2026 Season.
