Northern Beaches Hockey Competitions
Northern Beaches Hockey competitions is run by the Warringah Hockey Association and delivered through local clubs including Manly, Seaforth, Freshwater and Terrey Hills. All players register through a club, not directly into a competition.
STEP-BY-STEP: HOW TO REGISTER
1. Choose how you want to play
There are multiple ways to get involved:

Juniors (Saturday Super6) – mixed team and all abilities welcome - kids aged 9–16 years

Friday Night Super6 (Teens & Adults) – social + competitive - 15+ with BBQ and music

OG Competition (Grass) – traditional 11-a-side grass hockey played locally on the same field every week - for ages 15+

Social / Seasonal comps – flexible, mixed, fun formats - Usually played in Term 1 or Term 4

2. Choose your local club
You’ll register with a Northern Beaches club (e.g. Manly, Seaforth, Freshwater, Terrey Hills).

Clubs place you into a team

Clubs manage teams, uniforms and communication

All competitions are then delivered centrally
3. Register online (Revolutionise system)

Go to your club’s registration page

Select:

New member (first time)

Returning member (played before)

Complete your details and emergency contact info
👉 This system is used nationally for hockey registrations.
4. Pay your registration fees
Your registration typically includes:

Hockey Australia + Hockey NSW affiliation

Northern Beaches competition fees
-
Umpiring, field hire and admin costs

Club fees
5. Team allocation or confirmation
Depending on the competition:

Juniors Super 6 comps: Once registered your local club will sort you into a team!

Friday Night Super6: Once registered your local club will sort you into a team!

The OG competition: Once registered your local club will sort you into a team!

Higher level comps (if applicable): May involve trials and is available through our regional association nsbhockey.com.au
6. You’re ready to play
Once registered:

You’ll receive team info, draw and start dates from your local club - most teams have whatsapp chats to help you settle into the community!

Season typically starts early May
