In registering with Warren Womens Hockey Association you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to adhere to our Code of Conduct as outlined below:
Warren Women’s Hockey Association Code of Conduct
- I will behave in a respectful manner, through my actions and language used, at all times, to all players, officials and spectators.
- I will not show unnecessary obvious displeasure or disapproval (by action or verbal abuse) towards an umpire or match official as a consequence of his or her decision or generally.
- I will do my best to support fellow players, regardless of what team they play for, that are new or returning to the game.
- If I disagree with an umpire, I will raise the issue through my captain or team manager, rather that questioning the umpire’s judgement in public.
- I will encourage all players, coaches, managers and spectators to be respectful and tolerant of others.
- I will be mindful of the example I'm setting for young players and children watching.
- I will encourage my sideline supporters to be respectful, and to refrain from loud swearing and any inappropriate language and behaviour.
Remember we’re out here to get a bit of exercise and have some fun! All those involved are doing so as volunteers.
I agree to adhere to the WWHA Code of Conduct. I understand that failing to do so will result in consequences as decided by the WWHA committee.
