The MPIO can assist with pointing members in the right direction if ever they are in a position where they don't feel comfortable around water polo.
As Wagga Wagga Water Polo members, all players, coaches and supporters are bound by Water Polo Australia and Water Polo ACT Policies. Access these policies at the links below:
Members are also able to make complaints directly with Water Polo ACT through their online complaint form.
WWWPA - Working with Children Check Policy
Under this Policy, the following require a valid WWCC Number as a condition of registration, appointment or participation:
- Volunteer parents or close relatives coaching or managing their own child's or close relative's team.
- Referees.
- All club and association committee members.
- All workers and volunteers involved in any official club, association or water polo activity involving overnight stays, tours, camps or other activities with overnight accommodation.
Persons aged under 18 years of age remain exempt.
