Terms and Conditions for Player Nominations – National Tournaments

1. Nomination Fee

  • A non‑refundable $55 nomination fee is required at the time of submitting a nomination.
  • The nomination fee will be refunded only if the player is not selected for a WACMHA team.
  • If a player is selected, the $55 fee will be retained as part of the administration and selection process.

2. Payment Requirements

  • All player payments, including tournament levies, uniforms, and any other associated costs, must be paid by the nominated due dates.
  • Failure to make payments by the specified dates will result in the player’s nomination being terminated and the position offered to another eligible player.

3. Accommodation Arrangements

  • Players seeking accommodation organised through WACMHA must pay the required accommodation costs by the nominated due date.
  • Failure to pay by the due date may result in the accommodation booking being cancelled.

4. Withdrawal from Tournament

  • If a player withdraws from the tournament for any reason:
    • Accommodation payments will only be refunded if WACMHA does not incur any associated costs as a result of the withdrawal.
    • If costs have been incurred (e.g., non‑refundable bookings), the player may not be eligible for a refund.
    • In exceptional circumstances, a refund may be considered at the discretion of the WACMHA President.

5. Player Responsibilities

  • Players must comply with all WACMHA policies, codes of conduct, and expectations regarding behaviour, training, and communication.
  • Players must provide timely and accurate information when requested by team managers or WACMHA officials.

6. WACMHA Responsibilities

  • WACMHA will provide clear communication regarding selection processes, costs, payment deadlines, and logistical requirements.
  • WACMHA will manage accommodation bookings (where requested) and tournament arrangements in good faith and with due diligence.

7. Acceptance of Terms

  • By submitting a nomination, players acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
  • These Terms and Conditions may be updated by WACMHA as required, and players will be notified of any changes.
