SV's aim is to foster, encourage and promote skateboarding events and skate facilities across Victoria.

By becoming a member of the SV you will be supporting the inclusive growth of skate culture across Victoria, as well as have avenues that grow your own scene. 

Membership Types

The SV currently has 3 membership types available. 

To enroll you must start by signing up as an Associate Member.

You can sign up directly with SV or through the club you are associated to.

Membership Tiers & Minimum Requirements

Below are our requirements to register and obtain before completing a registration.

TIER 1: Associate Member - $35 annual fee

Minimum Requirements: 

• Valid Working with Children Check

• Completed SIA Safeguarding Children Online Course/Certificate 

• Signed SV Code of Conduct (Rev Sports)

TIER 2: Skate Coach

Minimum Requirements:  

• SV, YMCA, or SA Coaching Accreditation on File

• Valid First Aid & CPR – HLTAID010

• Completed SIA Community coaching essential skills online course

TIER 3: Affiliate — first step in the process - individuals looking to deliver programs.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Valid SV Affiliate Membership (forms completed)

• Risk Management Inductions and Forms (Completed & Co-signed)

• Facility Audit and Reporting Compliance Training

• Signed Service Delivery Agreement

Affiliate Members are brands, organisations, skate schools, clubs and individuals around Australia, investing their time as a collaborative group for the benefit of skate sports.

Affiliates, together with SV share a common mission: to foster, encourage and promote the skate sports in all Victorian communities.

The SV provides affiliates with industry knowledge and information about upcoming events and programs.

We share best practices, provide access to research, and promote our affiliates throughout Victoria.
