Skateboarding Victoria Participant Enrolment – Terms & Conditions

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Skateboarding and related skate-sports activities are dangerous recreational activities and involve obvious and inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury, permanent disability or death. Before enrolling, you should carefully read the Skateboarding Victoria Online Terms of Participation and Participant Waiver, Risk Warning, Release and Consent, available on the Skateboarding Victoria website.

Participant / Parent / Guardian Declaration

By selecting “I AGREE”, I acknowledge, agree and confirm that:

I have read, or have had the opportunity to read, the Skateboarding Victoria Online Terms of Participation and Participant Waiver, Risk Warning, Release and Consent, and understand that they apply to this enrolment;
I understand that participation involves dangerous recreational activities and I voluntarily accept and assume all associated risks;
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I agree to the exclusion, restriction or modification of liability for recreational services, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded (including reckless conduct);
I agree to be legally bound by the Online Terms of Participation and Participant Waiver as if they were set out in full in this enrolment form;
I consent to the collection and use of images, video and recordings in accordance with the image, recording and privacy provisions set out in the Online Terms of Participation and Participant Waiver; and
I consent to participation subject to those terms.

Under 18 Participants

If the participant is under 18 years of age, by selecting “I AGREE” I confirm that:

● I am the participant’s parent or legal guardian;

● I provide informed consent on the participant’s behalf; and

● I agree to be bound by the Online Terms of Participation and Participant Waiver in my capacity as parent or guardian, including the image, recording and privacy provisions.
