A Shinpan & Volunteer Seminar will be held on Sunday 5 October, 1:00 - 4:00pm at the Kenshikan. 

All VKC Volunteers are encouraged to attend to ensure we have sufficient, trained volunteers available for the smooth running of the Victorian Kendo Championships on October 11 and 12. 

Tentative schedule: 

• 1:00pm - Opening ceremony
• 1:10 - 1:30pm - Shiaisha warm-ups
  • • • Shinpan trainees: discussion about shinpan and the VKC rules
• 1:40 - 3:40pm - Shinpan Practice
• 3:40 - 3:55pm - Review, questions and discussion regarding shinpan practice
• 3:55 - 4:00pm - Closing ceremony
