Shimpan and Volunteer Seminar

A Shimpan and Volunteer Seminar and Briefing will be held on Sunday 7 August, 12.30-3.30pm at the Kenshikan. It will be conducted by the Victorian Kendo Technical Committee. 

All Shimpan and Competitors (3 Dan and above) are expected to attend to ensure we have sufficient, trained Shimpan available for the smooth running of the Victorian Kendo Championships. In particular, the Seminar will provide a reminder of COVID-safe Tsubazeriai rules. 

Schedule: 

• 12.30pm - Volunteers and Shiai-sha arrive for shinai 'check-in' and registration 
• 12.45pm - Shimpan arrive / Shiai-sh warm-up 
• 1pm - Seminar and shiai starts 
• 3.30pm - Close 

Please attend in Shimpan uniform or Keiko-gi and Hakama and bring your own Shimpan flags if possible. 

Kenshikan COVID Rules will apply. 

Face masks are highly recommended.
